The story

The tethered balloon at Disney® Village takes you on a fabulous experience of lighter-than-air flight in its gondola.

PanoraMagique: flying over Lake Disney®

PanoraMagique offers 30 passengers, depending on weather conditions, the chance to enjoy a 6-minute flight with unique 360° views of Disneyland® Paris, sometimes extending up to 20 km!

Located at Lake Disney in Disney Village®, this helium-filled sphere offers an incredible experience for young and old!

Welcome aboard!

You'll experience an ascent over Lake Disney; you're in the heart of Disneyland Paris, which is 1/5th the size of Paris. As you rise above the rooftops of Disney Village, you'll enjoy spectacular views of Disneyland® Parks and Walt Disney Studios. Around the lake, you can also see the theme hotels and further on, the 27-hole golf course.

We are 32 kilometres east of Paris and yet on a clear day you can see the Eiffel Tower.

This experiment is made possible by the huge 23-metre diameter envelope (as high as an eight-storey building) which contains 6 200 cubic metres of helium.

It is thanks to helium, which is lighter than air, that the balloon can lift up to 30 passengers at a time.

But when the wind exceeds 35 km/h or there is a risk of thunderstorms, flights are prohibited.

In the centre of the platform, the winch brakes on the way up and pulls the balloon and its basket back down. Thanks to the balloon, you have a negative weight, a "lighter than air" weight, which explains the smooth feeling.

100 metres above sea level!

To give you an idea of what an altitude of 100 metres means: you are higher than the Big Ben's tower in London or the spire of Notre-Dame de Paris. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Park and its region from the PanoraMagique balloon gondola!

PanoraMagique's timetable allows you to live this experience both during the day and at night, very different and equally fascinating views.
